Provide HVAC Technician services, including but not limited to HVAC maintenance and repair, in support of the District's maintenance program.  Assist other trades as assigned, per complete HVAC Technician job description.

 

Qualifications:

* HVAC repair and maintenance experience required.

* Demonstrates knowledge and experience in all phases of HVAC repair and maintenance, and in other trades included in HVAC Technician category.

* Work comfortably with 120V, 208V single phase and three phase, 480V three phase.  Also, work with 12V, 24V dc power.

* Lift objects up to 75 lbs., window/door installation, vertical construction, snow removal, etc.

* Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of power and hand tools.

* Mechanical aptitude to include the ability to analyze projects, determine material requirements, and efficiently complete tasks in a professional manner.

* Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and read and understand blueprints and specifications and operation manuals.

* Ability to establish and maintain positive working relations with fellow workers, administrative staff, students and teachers.
* Current Act 34, Criminal Background Check; Act 151, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI clearance.

 

Certificates & Licenses:

* EPA freon certification

* Valid driver's license

 

Terms of Employment:
* 12 months, 8 hours per day (6:30 am to 3:00 pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch).
* $29.81 per hour
