To support the preparation, serving, and accounting of nutritious, eye appealing foods for students, teachers and other support personnel in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.

 

Responsibilities:

* Help prepare and serve hot and/or cold foods.

* Clean up preparation, serving area and equipment used during the day's work.

* Fill and break-down serving line.

* Assist with daily clean-up of pots, pans, utensils, counters, serving area, etc.

* Have working knowledge of safe operation of all equipment including ovens, steamtable, warmers, etc.

* Be able to lift milk cases into cooler (approximately 30 pounds).

* Cashier at serving times.

* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager or the Supervisor of Food Service.

 

Qualifications:

* High School graduate or equivalent.

* No experience is necessary, but previous food service experience preferred.

* Cashier experience is preferred.

* Ability and personality to be able to deal with students, teachers other support personnel and the public.

* Physical capacity to perform all assigned duties.

 

Hours:   10 months, 4.5 hours per day (hours vary)

Salary:  $13.45 per hour
